SMS privacy and mobile opt-in data
For the messaging program we collect your mobile number, your consent status, confirmation code activity, your preferences, and your messaging history. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or opt-in data with third parties for marketing. We share it only with the service providers that deliver the messages, only as needed to deliver them, and otherwise only to comply with law, to prevent abuse, or to honour opt-outs.

What we collect
- Account information: name, username, email address and a salted password hash.
- Texting: mobile number, the version of the consent wording you saw, date and time of consent, IP address and browser type, the confirming text, opt-in status, and the texts exchanged. Medication names are never included in reminder texts.
- Website visits: IP address and browser type, for security.
How we use it
To run the messaging program you signed up for, to keep accounts secure, to prevent abuse, and to answer your questions.
Keeping and deleting
Consent records are kept while your number is registered and for four years after the last message or opt-out. Raw incoming texts are deleted from the web server 7 days after they are processed.
Security
Access is by individual login, passwords are stored only as salted hashes, connections use HTTPS, and credentials are kept out of the published site.
Your choices and SMS messaging
Reply STOP to any message to opt out; you will receive one final confirmation and nothing after it. Reply HELP, or email ward@aileeward.com, for help or to ask for your data to be corrected or deleted. Consent is optional and not a condition of using any LeeWard website or product. See the Terms of Service.
Children
Ward Bowman's LeeWard project is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information.
